Bio

Lauren Piro is a graduate of Brandeis University, Class of 1998. She then went on to graduate from Temple University School of Law in 2001. During her time at Temple University, she was selected to be a member of the Temple Journal of Science, Technology and Environmental Law. Very important to her career was a clinical during law school regarding Elder Law, an internship assisting the homeless with legal issues including disability and an internship assisting minors with health care rights. Before joining Shipon Law Associates, P.C., Ms. Piro was a Supervising Attorney at Genex Services for over ten years. There she focused on Social Security representation and managing a team of attorneys doing that same work. She has traveled all over the country practicing Social Security representation. Ms. Piro joined Shipon Law Associates, P.C. in 2011 and has focused her practice primarily on Social Security disability representation of both children and adults. She is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Disability Representatives. Outside of work, Ms. Piro enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, cooking and exercising.
